We used Prizehouse for adding and altering a number of dormers on our house. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the excellent attitude and application showed by all of the team.
The work started whilst we had just gone on our 2 week summer holiday. Even though the weather was not the best, they managed to make outstanding progress and our neighbours commented how impressed they were with the number of builders on site and the number of hours they worked each day. They had the structure completed and the house habitable for our return.
The quality of the workmanship was excellent and they were the cleanest builders I’ve ever encountered, doing an excellent job tidying up both indoors and outdoors once the project was completed.
Prizehouse also kept us up to date with regular pictures and updates, which were most appreciated.
Overall we were very pleased – and would recommend them to anyone needing a professional, efficient and effective building company.

The loft conversion included adding two new bedrooms and a bathroom and building a new staircase. The company were professional from the outset and very thorough in every aspect of the project from planning and regulations right through to execution. The workmen were an absolute pleasure- nothing was too much trouble and they were really considerate in terms of keeping things clean and tidy. I can’t fault Steve and the rest of the lads - they were honest and upfront throughout and any hiccups or problems encountered along the way have been resolved straight away.
